Joey in Nike SB Edit

Our very own Joey Pressey along with Jerome Campbell, Colin Kennedy and Dave Mackey went on an all nighter around the streets of Paris a few months back. The trip was for an article for Kingpin, which you can check out now as it appears in the latest issue on sale now. Check out the HD edit of the mission below.

New Product

Two brand new series out this week...

Some of the shops have them already and others will be receiving them this week so look out for them. First is the CMYK 2 series. After the success of the CMYK's and the demand we had from you to bring them back we decided to refresh it and we think it's even better than before (be sure to check out the CMYK coloured laminates!) The second series we have out for Spring has been designed by our friend Andrew Pommier (Momentum/Toy Machine/Adidas/etc) with his trademark style and characters.

The Neon's and Fall/Winter One Off's are now all gone from the warehouse so any of those you see on the board wall at your local shop is the last of them so snap them up while you can.

The website is getting an overall as you read this so we'll be launching that for our Spring/Summer catalogue which will be available any day now. This week were sending off more graphics to the factory ready for Summer. More updates from Glass soon... oh and Snowy's now back from his adventures

Well it's a great day today so off for a skate, until next time...

Seeeaaaagullllls! Max Fiiiish!

Jin had a good crack at Jensen over at the Slam game of S.K.A.T.E.
A for effort Jin! Good monkey skills, stingin' fakie tre!

20.3.09

Ou est la champignon?

Have a look at this short film made by Soy and Sylvain Robineau. I think it's meant to be a joke but as far as I can see it doesn't differ from Soy's real life very much.

"Half Japanese, half normal."

Jin's game of S.K.A.T.E. is up on the Slam site - click the pic for the link. Best game yet I reckon, hardest tricks so far! Jin does us proud! Can't wait for Rory's match, I wish he was playing Lucien.

Home of the original gun clappers.

Seeing as you'll have more luck on ice skates than on skateboards in most of the UK today here's the last Horizons related Podcast in the shape of the whole team's remaining offcuts. That should keep you warm!
New boards coming soon so keep checking the site and stick your nose round the door of your local skate shop just in case.

Jet Lag, Broken Thumbs & Tradeshows...

Just a quick update from LA. We came out here for the Crossroads show Black Box was holding in the grounds of their building. It went down really well with all the proper skateboard companies in attendance. We were there showing Landscape for the first time in the US and we got some really good feedback and are now talking to distributors in the US, across Europe and throughout the world.

We've popped up on a few blogs from being at the show. I've taken a few photos myself that I will get up but for now here's me and Erin from SoleTech at our booth taken from the transworld site. You can take a sneak peak at our Spring 2009 boards in this photo. They will be online soon.

For more coverage check out Transword Skateboarding, Shake Junt, The Skateboard Mag, Black Box

Man. Utd blah blah blah...

Podcast update! Snowy tells us where he is now the video has come out (filmed before he left though) and includes offcuts from Horizons. I actually filmed a long interview with him but having watched it back he keeps banging on about Man. Utd so I cut all that out.

No postcard as yet but we've had a few emails including one about being pulled off a busy bus in Brazil and made to lie face down on the road with a machine gun in his back! Apparently they were looking for armed robbers. Be careful out there kids!

Say Hello, Wave Goodbye

So Joey did us proud in the Slam game of s.k.a.t.e by taking London legend Lucien Clarke down to the last letter. Unlucky Joe! You weren't thrashed by any means.
Still in the contest we have Rory and Jin whose 1st battles will be online soon. Keep checking the Slam site and here as ever.

I can smile about it now but at the time it was terrible.

OK, more Christmas treats for you Podcast subscribers - this time in the shape of an amazing trailer for Landscape's U.S. homie/cameraman Chris Mulhern's new video.
Entitled "This Time Tomorrow" it features our very own Rory Milanes alongside his consistently zooted henchmen Lucien Clarke and Steph Morgan. It looks like it's gonna be one of the best indie productions of recent years with a great Static kind of feel and some incredible spots to get you thinking.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Seeing as it's nearly Christmas we've got another little present for you. Podcast subscribers you should now have this "Best Of..." Landscape 's web-clips 07/08 nestling in your iTunes. If it's not there by now hit refresh!

16.12.08

Fill your boots/pod.

Just added a new interview clip thing to the Landscape podcast. Following on from the Soy one a while back this has Joey and Rory talking about pretty random stuff - travelling, filming and Joey's first board.

Click the Podcast button over there on the right if you're not already a subscriber, otherwise go to your iTunes and refresh your podcasts to receive it. Or you can just watch it here by clicking the image above.

And finally, Horizons should be in the shops this week - just in time for Father Christmas to load in his sleigh! I hope you've all been good!

27.11.08

So long and thanks for all the fish.

After years of first rate ripping Joel Curtis has decided to retire from professional skateboarding and concentrate on his family. As one of our original riders at the launch of the company all of us at Landscape are sad to see him step down but insist he stays part of the family so look out for the odd sighting of Joel in the future.

Joel thanks all those who've helped and supported him over the years and his last board hits the shops very soon as part of the Neons Series.

The Horizons DVD is currently in production and will be out very soon too.

24.11.08

Pats on the back all round.

So, Horizons premiered in London on Saturday night. We were pleased with how it went with a packed second showing and a great atmosphere. All the team were present and correct except for Snowy who's on the beach in Brazil with his lovely ladyfriend as we speak.

After party snaps can be found here on Tweaker blog (cheers Gorm - I forgot to take a camera).

The DVD will be out in a couple of weeks but to keep you occupied in the meantime we thought we'd be generous and put the whole of Joey's part online! You have to promise to still buy the DVD though!

Oh and a Google search found this today - you don't think they'll sue do you? Looks like Soy might work there anyway... "Indian Sandstone Specialist" ... hmmm!

One last thing - OG Landscaper Toby Shuall's Suburban Bliss label has had an online revamp so get on there and get yourselves and extra winter layer or two.

13.11.08

Blad, don't get rude.

The Wayward's have a new site so expect plenty of Myskateordie antics on there soon. First up they have a promo for the forthcoming PWBC vid which promises to be a Hi-res HD classic judging by the clip...

8.11.08

On the Horizon...

Editing hell is what Glass is in at the moment. Working away to have everything done for the Premiere of Horizons on the 22nd of this month. Tickets are available from Slam City Skates (0207 240 0928). Be good to see you down there.

We're aiming for the DVD to be on the shelf of your local SOS a week or so after the premiere so make sure its on your Christmas lists along with one of the new boards. We have another new series of boards due out at the same time so check back for a peep at those.

Talking of boards these 4 have just hit the shelves. Go and grab one!
